The District Rifle Association of Kollam (DRAK) is the sole official district-level body for shooting sports in Kollam, affiliated with the Kerala State Rifle Association (KSRA). We are committed to providing a safe, structured, and professional environment for shooters while creating opportunities to progress from local training and competition to State, Zonal, and National championships.
Our vision is to build a strong and inclusive shooting sports community in Kollam by developing young talent, supporting affiliated rifle clubs, promoting responsible firearm practices, and nurturing athletes capable of competing at higher levels.

The Official District Association for Shooting Sports in Kollam
The District Rifle Association of Kollam (DRAK) is the sole official body for shooting sports in Kollam District, operating under the direct affiliation of the Kerala State Rifle Association (KSRA).
DRAK provides a structured platform for shooters across the district through its network of affiliated rifle clubs. The association supports professional training, promotes responsible and safe shooting practices, and provides eligible athletes with a pathway to State, Zonal, and National Championships sanctioned by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI).
With an administrative structure involving the District Collector and District Police Chief in ex-officio leadership roles, DRAK combines sporting development with strong standards of legal compliance, safety, and responsible firearm management.
The District Rifle Association of Kollam is guided by a dedicated Executive Committee responsible for the administration, development, and promotion of shooting sports across the district.
With representation from district administration, police leadership, and experienced association members, the committee works to strengthen athlete development, affiliated clubs, competitions, and responsible shooting sports in Kollam.
